Why Compressed & Buffered ?
Blue Apple Garden coco coir comes as a compact, compressed 5kg brick — easy to store, stack and transport. It is also washed and calcium-buffered to improve consistency and help minimise common nutrient balance issues seen with unbuffered coco coir. Unbuffered coco coir often leads to unpredictable nutrient lock-up and poor plant performance.

Ideal Growing Medium Mix
For best results, avoid using soil on its own. Roots perform better with a growing medium mix. Hydrate our compressed brick, then blend with compost (for nutrition) and an aeration material (such as perlite) to create the ideal growing medium mix. No soil is required.
Natural and Sustainable
Made from 100% natural, organic coconut husk fibres, coco coir is a renewable resource, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional peat moss. It is naturally resistant to mould and free from weed seeds and soil-borne contaminants — making it a clean and safe medium for seed starting.
